Reservations

Please note before booking…

Chishuru is not a fine dining restaurant. Yes we have a Michelin star but our style is relaxed and homely, and we play music.

Menu

We offer a set menu only, priced at £45pp at lunch and £95pp at dinner.

Visit the Food & Drink page to see the latest menus, and to learn about how we handle dietary requirements.

Availability

We open Monday to Friday only and are closed on weekends. You can book up to 60 days in advance. Our reservations page has all the up-to-date availability. We are also happy to take walk-ins.

Our maximum party size is eight people. For larger groups, please visit our Group Bookings page for further information.

Our last service of 2024 will be Friday 20 December; we reopen on Monday 6 January 2025 at dinner.

No-Show & Short-Show Fees

If you don't turn up for your booking, or if you cancel at short notice, we charge a no-show fee; further details can be found in the booking process.

Please don't book a table of two even though there's only one of you, or a table of three even though there's only two of you. If you do, a £50 'short show fee' will be added to your bill. (If you think this is harsh, you’d be surprised how often people deliberately make bookings for the wrong number of guests.)

Table Times

At dinner, we allow 1h45m for solo diners, two hours for tables of two, 2h15m for tables of three and four, and 2h30m for tables of five and up.

We are a small restaurant so there may be a booking after yours on the same table (in which case we’ll need the table back). If you think you’d want longer on the table for dinner, we recommend making a post-8pm reservation where your table won’t be turned.

Children & Babies

We are always pleased to see children in the restaurant. At lunch we are happy to welcome kids who don’t order from the menu or who will just share your food. At dinner, everyone apart from babies in highchairs needs to order the full set menu. We do not have a kids’ menu.

We have a highchair and space for pushchairs; please add a note to your booking so we can put you on a convenient table.

There's no need to include children in the number of guests if they won’t be having a meal; for us, two adults and a baby is a table of two, and three adults plus two kids who aren’t eating lunch is a table of three. Please do let us know in a note or over email, however, that the kids will be coming so we can make sure the table is big enough for you.

Payment

Please note we take card payment only.

Communications

If you opt out of receiving marketing communications, you may not get an email confirmation of your booking. We promise not to sell on your details, please don't opt out!

Please note our booking window is 60 days in advance, and we are closed on weekends
